Rakshabandhan is a popular traditionally hindu festival,It is celebrated in shravana month during full moon day or purnima day. Rakhi is basically sacred thread of protection with the love and affection of his brother from her sister . This day is known as raksha bandhan and celebrated to the full moon day of hindus in shravana in india. The thread of rakhi is considerd has strongest than iron chains as is considerd the most beautiful relationship in the world with trust and full of love. Rakhi is celebrated on 3rd AUGUST 2020.

The rakhi festival is celebrated with whole family ,giving gifts to each other, and brother giving gifts to sister with a lot of love and memories with her sister,eating each other sweets, CELEBRATING with whole family ,dancing singing lots of noise . Rakhi is the sign of every man to protect his sister and family .

As most holidays do, there are stories and myths associated with celebrating rakshabandhan. these stories emphasize devotion between a man and women.The Lord indra about to be defeated during the war between gods and demons,asked guru brihaspati for help. Briaspati instructed him to tie a sacred thread around his wrist . Indras wife, Queen Indrani tied the thread,and consequently,the gods were victorious.

The ceremony ,before the full moon rises ,the sisters collects the number of needed rituals like , rakhi, kumkum powder ,rice, diya ,agarbathi, sweets . the gathers are called thali , The hindu people expressed  the love and sentiment , hospitality is strong part of hindu culture. celebrating the holi on this year may your family happy and joy with all blessings of god.
